Bye Bye Skinny Jeans?

Yes. It is true. Skinny jeans may be going out of fashion.

I've read a few articles on this and decided to write my own to have my say on the whole matter!

So for a while now, there has been various rumours about this matter but they have always been forgotten within a few days or so. However, over the past few days alone, i have seen quite a few.

Skinny jeans first came about last century (that sounds weird...) and really started to become popular after various celebs started to brave them. Skinny jeans are known to be the fashion item that refuses to fade, and it's pretty clear. Years on from that, the thigh-hugging trousers are still going strong and it's no surprise. Many people feel uncomfortable in them, but we'll get to that later, however you can't deny that they go with just about anything and everything!

But if skinny jeans go, what will replace them?

Well, remember a few months/seasons whatever ago, when the 70's came into fashion again? Well, it's here again! Flares (and bootcuts) are a major possibility for making a second breakthrough.

Like i said, many people don't feel comfortable in skinny jeans. One woman from stylist.com , wrote a similar article explaining how it felt to have to lie on the floor of the dressing room to force the horrid zip up. However, when she tried on some flares, she felt so comfortable and confident. She mentioned how flattering the trousers were compared to skinnies. Have you heard of the phrase, 'confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can wear' ? It's true! And i know i feel so much better about myself when i'm wearing clothes i feel comfortable in.

Celebrities have already gone back a few decades, sporting their trendy new trousers too.

I mean, look at them! You can really tell that these flared and boot cut jeans are so flattering.

Flattering + Comfortable = Perfect New Fashion Trend

I haven't tried them yet, but i definitely want to. Have you tried them recently? Leave a comment and let me know your opinion on the matter; i'd love to know!

I hope your holidays are lovely and i'll see you in my next post.
